Roberts Karate is owned and operated by Sensei Rick Roberts, a 6th Degree Black Belt with over 30 years of study who holds the title of Renshi.  Since 1988, our dojo has taught top-quality Okinawan Karate-do to students of all ages.  In those years, we have taken 30 students to Yudansha - the Black Belt level, resulting in an exceptionally knowledgeable and skillful group of instructors in this ancient fighting system.

Roberts Karate is a member dojo in good standing of the Okinawan Shorin-Ryu Shorinkan Kyokai, headquartered in Naha City, Okinawa.  Shorin-Ryu Shorinkan is presided over by one of the most influential living Okinawan Karate Grandmasters - Hanshi Shugoro Nakazato.

Our students range in age from 4 to 55+.  Because no two students are alike, every student brings a unique set of skills and abilities to the dojo.  Each student is driven towards being the best they can be, and constantly strive to “raise the bar” on their quality as both a student of the martial arts, and as a human being.

Roberts Karate is a family-oriented dojo with classes for children, teens and adults.  Our training is focused and serious, however, we maintain a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere for all.  Our fees are reasonable and family discounts are available.  We welcome new students at any time throughout the year.
