CONGRATULATIONS - Jessica Gaughan & Dave Mussar Promoted to Shodan

Congratulations to our newest Black Belts - Jessica Gaughan and Dave Mussar!! After years of dedicated training and successful completion of a comprehensive and challenging grading process, Dave and Jessica were promoted to Shodan after demonstrating the entire Shorinkan kata curriculum before a formal grading panel headed by Kyoshi Rick Roberts on June 18, 2011.

Both Jessica and Dave serve as an example of parents who followed their children into the dojo.  Both of Jessica's sons were students in the dojo before her.  Dave's daughter Dara holds the rank of Nidan, having earned her Black Belt in 2003.
